Peter Lee has a long and varied career in engineering and luthiery. Peter began their professional career in 2009 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Cardiovascular and Tissue Mechanics Research Laboratory. In 2010, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Ultrafast Electron Crystallography Laboratory. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Northwestern University as a Machine Shop Foreman, Postdoctoral Researcher, and PhD Candidate. In 2014, they began their own company, Peter Lee Luthiery, as a Luthier. In 2017, they joined Lam Research as a Product Engineer, providing innovative solutions to the semiconductor industry. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Dusty Robotics as a Senior R&D Engineer, Independent Contractor, and Senior Mechatronics Engineer, as well as The Crucible as a Machinist and Meter as a Mechanical Engineer. In 2022, they joined Dexai Robotics as a Senior Mechatronics Engineer.
Peter Lee attended Northwestern University from 2011 to 2016, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics. Prior to that, they attended Michigan State University from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, and Mechanical Engineering.
