Spencer Hess is an experienced engineering professional with a background in mechanical and application engineering. Currently serving as an Application Engineer at Durr Universal since May 2016, Spencer previously held the position of Mechanical Systems Engineer at Bioferm Energy Systems, Viessmann Group, focusing on the planning and design of Anaerobic Digestion plants. Earlier experience includes working as an Application Engineer at Weir Minerals, where responsibilities involved reviewing engineering specifications and providing technical support for centrifugal slurry pumps, and as a Project Engineer at Finishing Technologies, where Spencer designed and installed finishing systems for the paint and coating industries. Spencer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, earned between 1993 and 1999.
