Pek Chuan Quek has a strong background in various industries, particularly in operations, research and development, and manufacturing. Pek Chuan is currently serving as the Director of Operations at Durapower Holdings Pte Ltd, a company specializing in energy storage solutions. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Vice President at Advanced Ophthalmic Innovations Pte Ltd. Quek also has experience at Interplex Holdings Ltd, where they served as Vice President of Interplex Product Development and later took on the role of Regional Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director. Pek Chuan also worked at Amtek Engineering Ltd as General Manager and Chief Design & Development Officer. Quek's early career includes roles at GES International Ltd and Saft Singapore Pte Ltd, where they held positions in research and development. Overall, Quek has demonstrated leadership skills and expertise in various areas of operations and innovation throughout their career.

Pek Chuan Quek started their education at Ngee Ann Polytechnic from 1982 to 1985, where they earned a High School Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Pek Chuan then joined the Officer Cadet School (Mindef) from 1985 to 1986, specializing in Military and Strategic Leadership, and was awarded the degree of Lieutenant. Afterwards, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering - BE (Hons) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Major in Computer Engineering) at Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 1990 to 1993.
