James Clift is an accomplished entrepreneur with extensive experience in building and leading technology-driven companies. Currently serving as the Founder of Durable since September 2021, James aims to simplify business ownership. Previously, James founded Holopod, which was acquired by Pulse and subsequently Mozilla, focusing on enhancing distributed work experiences. As CEO of VisualCV from 2014 to July 2020, James grew the platform to over 4 million members, and also co-founded Workstory, which powered career success through technology. Earlier roles include co-founding KarmaHire and serving as Chief Employment Officer at Callings, where James promoted meaningful job connections. James holds a BCOMM in Accounting (Honours) from The University of British Columbia.
