Sarah Olexsak is an experienced professional in transportation electrification and energy policy, currently serving as the Senior Manager for Transportation Electrification in Corporate Strategy at Duquesne Light Company since May 2018. Previously, Sarah held various leadership roles, including Energy Efficient Mobility Systems & Electrification Manager at the U.S. Department of Energy, where significant projects on smart city energy efficiency and electric vehicle deployment were managed. Sarah also worked as Senior Sustainability Officer at The White House, overseeing advanced transportation technologies and sustainability goals, and played a crucial role at the U.S. Department of Energy on workplace charging initiatives and electric vehicle manufacturing loan programs. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Energy Policy & Climate from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Muskingum University.
