Matteo Peyron is a seasoned sustainability professional with extensive experience in corporate sustainability and environmental consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Sustainability Manager at dss+ since May 2022, Matteo previously co-founded Perfect Food Consulting, where duties included senior sustainability consulting from September 2021 to May 2022. Prior experience as a Sustainability and LCA Consultant at Life Cycle Engineering Srl solidified expertise in corporate sustainability strategies, while earlier roles included LCA Analyst and Co-Founder at helium.bike, which introduced Italy’s first bamboo bicycles. An academic background includes a Laurea magistrale in Scienze Agrarie with a focus on sustainable farming systems from Università degli Studi di Torino, complemented by an international study semester at VetAgro Sup. Research work at the university involved assessing greenhouse gas emissions and evaluating the environmental sustainability of various agricultural systems.
