Vishaal Chhabria has worked in various roles since 2010. Vishaal began their career as Vice-President, Treasurer and Campus Coordinator for the Coalition for a Free Haiti in 2010. In 2011, they worked as a Research Assistant at Fox Chase Cancer Center, where they tested proposed drug action mechanisms and produced computer models of mutated proteins. In 2012, they were an Intern for the Comprehensive Health and Hygiene Improvement Program at Mercy Corps-Broadleaf Health and Education Alliance, and they were also a Co-Founder and Consultant for Tri-Co Consulting and a Co-Founder and Board Member for Liter of Light/Bottle Batti Darjeeling. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Data Scientist for the U.S. Department of State, where they developed analytics databases and built an analytics website. From 2015 to 2020, they worked as a Cloud Analytics and Integration Staff Engineer for Booz Allen Hamilton. In 2020, they became a Lead Technologist (Associate) for Booz Allen Hamilton, and in 2022 they became a Senior Engineer for DuploCloud.

Vishaal Chhabria attended Moravian Academy from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a High School degree. Vishaal then went on to Swarthmore College from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a BA in Biochemistry. In 2012, they attended The Wharton School, but did not receive a degree. In 2018, they attended Cornell Tech, where they obtained a Master of Engineering in Computer Science in 2019.
