Jason Xia has a diverse range of work experience starting from 2019. Jason worked as a Software Engineer at Duolingo since 2022. Previously, they held the position of Lead Course Developer for CS 374 (Algorithms & Models of Computation) and Senior Course Staff for CS 126 (Software Design Studio) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2019 to the present. In 2021, they interned as a Software Engineer at Facebook. In 2020, they worked as a Quantitative Trading Intern at Optiver, and in 2019, they interned as a Software Development Intern at Art of Problem Solving. Furthermore, Jason worked as a Software Developer at the Physics Coach Development Team and as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Illinois Geometry Lab, both in 2019.

Jason Xia earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Jason attended the university from 2018 to 2022, completing their undergraduate education in that field.
