Chris Lock is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Duolingo and previously at Squarespace, Chris has held various leadership roles, including Director of Engineering at Away and Engineering Team Manager at Squarespace. Early career positions include Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Plated, as well as Senior Software Developer at SYPartners. Chris holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Environmental Design, with a focus on Architecture and Graphic Design, from Auburn University, earned between 2002 and 2007.
