Sean Penn is an experienced professional with a diverse background in event management, operations, and media. Currently serving as the Missions and A/V Coordinator at Dunwoody United Methodist Church since May 2023, Sean has extensive experience in freelance road race event management with Racing Solutions, where responsibilities include preparing courses for large-scale events, managing volunteer workers, and handling post-event tasks. Previously, as Swim School Director at Dynamo Swim School from October 2011 to March 2022, Sean oversaw multiple locations, increasing enrollment and managing staff. An account manager at the American Red Cross - Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter from 1992 to 2011, Sean led various Red Cross programs and coordinated large-scale training events. Earlier in the career, Sean gained significant media experience as a Technical Director/Shift Leader at CNN from 1989 to 1999. Sean holds a BA in Broadcasting/Cinema from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
