Jonathan Rowe is an experienced programme manager and policy advisor with a strong background in climate change adaptation and international development. As the Programme Manager for South Dunedin Future at Dunedin City Council, Jonathan leads the climate change adaptation programme in collaboration with the Otago Regional Council. Previous roles include serving as the Private Secretary for Climate Change (International) in the New Zealand Parliament, where Jonathan managed international climate policy and UNFCCC negotiations, as well as the NZ Aid Programme Team Leader for Fiji at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade, overseeing bilateral development initiatives. Jonathan's earlier career includes various positions within the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade and the NZ Police, focused on development programme management and policy analysis. Educational qualifications include a Master of International Affairs from Victoria University of Wellington and Bachelor degrees in International Relations and Geography from Manhattan University and the University of Otago, respectively.
