Anna Venables currently serves as an Executive Assistant in the CEO’s Office at Dunedin City Council, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this, Anna worked at the University of Otago from December 2019 to September 2023 as a Student Adviser, where responsibilities included providing course advice and support to undergraduate students. Anna’s earlier experience includes roles as an Executive Assistant at the University of Otago, where administrative support was provided during the establishment of the Shared Services Division, and as Operations Manager at LHH, advising senior executives on career strategies. Additional positions held include Executive Assistant at Alvarez & Marsal, Membership Administrator and PA to the CEO at The Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys, and Business Support Officer at Accident Compensation Corporation. Anna Venables earned a BA in History from Cardiff University in 2008.
