Sara Cole currently serves as President & CEO of the Duluth Area Family YMCA, a position held since November 2017. Prior experience includes Senior Vice President of Program Development and Innovation at the YMCA of Greater Rochester, where leadership spanned comprehensive youth development services for a $47 million organization. There, Sara Cole developed innovative programs, managed a significant grant portfolio, and facilitated regional food program improvements across various YMCA Associations. Previous roles also include Vice President of Youth Development at the same YMCA, Director of Out-of-School Time Programs at the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati, and Assistant Director of Education for the Department of Youth Services. Sara Cole's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Nazareth University.
