Zaahir Moolla has a diverse work experience. Zaahir started their career as an Engineering Co-op Student at General Motors Oshawa - Truck Plant Paint Shop, Engineering Office in 2007. In 2011, they worked as a Senior Programmer & Web Developer at Quant Interpretations. From 2013 onwards, they joined DuckDuckGo, initially as a Software Engineering Intern and later progressed to the roles of Software Engineer, Frontend Engineer, and currently as a Senior Frontend Engineer.

Zaahir Moolla completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Business Informatics from Sinclair Secondary School in 2009. Following that, they pursued higher education and obtained a B.A.Sc. degree in Business Informatics from McMaster University, graduating in 2013.
