Brit Edwards started their career at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in 2009 as a Publicity Assistant and worked their way up to become a Culinary and Lifestyle Publicity Manager. In this role, they developed and implemented publicity campaigns for new culinary and lifestyle titles. Brit also wrote and designed promotional materials and provided feedback to various teams.

In 2017, Brit joined Sesame Workshop as a Manager of Strategic Communications, where they independently crafted and executed communication plans for various initiatives and properties. Brit also collaborated with the unit publicist for Sesame Street, co-produced video segments, and managed brand partnerships.

Most recently, in 2022, Brit began working at DuckDuckGo as a Senior Communications Manager.

Brit Edwards attended New York University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature.
