Dr. Tariq Al-Zarooni has extensive work experience, starting in 2009 when they joined DUBAL as an Asset Management and P&D Asset Manager. Dr. Tariq held this position until March 2020. In March 2020, they transitioned to Dubai Airports, where they currently hold the role of Head of Utility.

Dr. Tariq Al-Zarooni completed their education with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Denver in the years 1997 to 2001. Dr. Tariq then pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder from 2004 to 2006. Afterward, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Khalifa University between 2016 and 2021.
