David Miller has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. David is currently employed as a Software Engineer at DTEX Systems since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at FlightSafety International as a Software Engineer V for over 15 years, specializing in the reverse engineering of flight display instruments and developing customized graphical applications for pilot training. Before that, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at MCI / Verizon for 8 years. David also worked as a Software Development Consultant at Eagles International, where they developed multi-threaded applications and supported production systems. Additionally, they gained experience as a Software Engineer at Landmark Graphics Corp and as a Software Development Consultant at Systems Programming Resources, Inc., where they worked on healthcare claims data format and field validation routines. David started their career as a Computer Systems Engineer at Aeromet, Inc., where they designed embedded control systems, and earlier they worked as a Programmer Analyst at Gulley Computer Associates.

David Miller completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Oral Roberts University from 1977 to 1981. David then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University from 1999 to 2003.
