Doug Remington has over 20 years of experience in sales and leadership roles within the telecommunications industry. Doug is currently the GM/Head of EMEA Region at DTEN since June 2019. Prior to this, they worked at PGi for 14 years, starting in 2005. At PGi, Doug held various positions including SVP-Head of Sales & Account Management EMEA, VP-Sales EMEA, and Senior Sales Director EMEA. Doug was responsible for driving growth in new business acquisition and account management, implementing key account management approaches, and transitioning sales organizations to UCaaS, SaaS, and professional services. Before their time at PGi, Doug worked as a Sales Specialist at Cable & Wireless in 2004 and as a Sales Consultant at EasyLink Services from 2001 to 2003. Doug started their career at Cable & Wireless in 1999 as a Sales Account Manager, where they were promoted to Sales Specialist in Contact Centre solutions. Throughout their career, Doug has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a focus on driving business growth.
Doug Remington completed their A Levels in Economics, Physics, and Mathematics at Peter Symonds College Winchester from 1987 to 1989. Following this, they pursued a BSc in Management Science at The University of Manchester from 1990 to 1993. Additionally, in March 2023, Doug obtained the Microsoft Teams Rooms Solution Sales Professional 2023 Exam certification from Microsoft.
