Rona Weekes

Rona Weekes has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Rona started their career at Quest International in 1989, where they held various marketing and sales roles. At Quest, they managed global marketing teams and led the corporate repositioning project for the company's sale to Givaudan. In 2007, Rona joined Givaudan as the Head of Global Marketing, Consumer Understanding & Sensory, where they developed strategies for marketing, communications, consumer sensory insights, and sustainability. Rona also held the position of Head of Marketing Flavours - EAME, managing a high-performance team and overseeing the business strategy for the region. In 2017, Rona founded Purple Parsley GmbH and served as the CEO until 2019. Rona then joined DSM, first as the Global Director for Nutrition Improvement, responsible for improving public health through nutrition, and later as the Global Marketing Director for General Nutrition Products. Currently, Rona holds the position of Senior Director of Global Cross-segment Marketing at dsm-firmenich.

Rona Weekes pursued their undergraduate education from 1985 to 1989 at the University of Bath, where they earned a BSc with Honours in Chemistry.
