Michael Damato, CSP, CHMM, CHST, is a seasoned professional in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management with over two decades of experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Senior Safety, Health, Environmental and Security Manager at dsm-firmenich since May 2023 and simultaneously as Senior Manager Environment Health Safety at Firmenich since December 2019, Michael has a demonstrated history of effectively managing HSE regulatory compliance while focusing on cost containment and risk management. Previous positions include Sr HSE Specialist at Eli Lilly and Company and Corporate Environmental Engineer at Crown Cork & Seal, where Michael implemented corporate HSE policies and conducted audits across North America. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Rutgers University, obtained in 1999.
