Phillip Moore has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Phillip started their career as a Programmer Summer Intern at Philip Morris in 1981, where they developed and revised programs for accounting, administrative, and personnel departments.

Phillip then joined IBM in 1982 and held various roles, including Programmer Analyst, Advisory Networking Marketing Specialist, NASA Sales Manager/Advisory Systems Engineer, and Senior Account Manager at IBM/Tivoli Systems. In these positions, they marketed and sold hardware, software, and services to Fortune 500 companies and federal agencies, including DHHS and NIH. Phillip also provided daily onsite support for datacenter operations and managed multiple upgrades.

In 1996, Phillip moved to IBM/Tivoli and worked as a Senior Account Manager, selling and maintaining IBM/Tivoli systems such as network management and security solutions. Phillip established executive and technical relationships with accounts and supervised project team members.

After their time at IBM/Tivoli, Phillip joined Northrop Grumman Information Technology in 2002 as a Program Manager. Phillip managed a contract valued at over $150 million and oversaw 36 employees and subcontractors.

In 2005, Phillip established their own business, Moore Enterprises, where they operated a full-service restaurant and oversaw all business operations, including HR, AP/AR, accounting, marketing, sales, customer relations, and technology. Phillip hired and supervised a staff of 75.

Lastly, Phillip worked at DSFederal from 2011 as an Account Manager, responsible for business development at the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). In this role, they coordinated sales activity, pipeline reviews, technical staffing, and responses to RFP, RFI, and Sources Sought.

Overall, Phillip Moore has gained extensive experience in sales, program management, business development, and entrepreneurship throughout their career.

Phillip Moore attended Howard University from 1979 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. During their time at Howard University, they focused on studying Business with a Concentration in Computer-Based Information Systems.
