Kirk Spitz

Project Coordinator/Telecom Data Analyst at DSFederal

Kirk Spitz has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to telecom data analysis and coordination. Kirk most recently worked at DSFederal as a Project Coordinator/Telecom Data Analyst starting in September 2019. Prior to that, they were a Telecom Data Analyst at TurningPoint Global Solutions from February 2018 to September 2019.

Before their roles in telecom data analysis, Kirk worked at Verizon from May 2002 to December 2016 as a Senior Coordinator - Order Manager. In this role, they handled long-distance phone service processing for the federal government and played a lead role in Verizon's largest circuit migration project. Kirk also oversaw circuit and equipment ordering for Verizon's intricate IP products.

From February 2001 to May 2002, Kirk worked at MCI as a Local Order Processor, where they consistently met customer demands by entering and processing large customer orders. Kirk also processed orders during national crisis situations and resolved issues with the Local Order Processing Team.

Prior to MCI, Kirk worked at WorldCom as an Order Coordinator from February 2000 to February 2001. In this role, they oversaw large business accounts to prevent loss of phone service during customer switches and effectively utilized mainframe and web-based systems.

Starting in June 1997 to October 2000, Kirk worked at Citi as an Operations Analyst. Kirk assisted management in directing a team and played a key role in credit card fraud detection. Kirk also led the implementation of peer-to-peer networking, resulting in increased productivity and efficiency.

Throughout their career, Kirk has demonstrated strong technical skills, project management abilities, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.

Kirk Spitz began their education journey at Commack High School South, where they attended from 1984 to 1988. After completing high school, they pursued higher education at Suffolk County Community College from 1990 to 1991, earning an Associate's degree in Business Administration. Following their time at Suffolk County Community College, Kirk furthered their education by attending the New York Institute of Technology from 1992 to 1993. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
