Colin Cooper is an accomplished IT security professional and cybersecurity consultant with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Head of IT Security at DS Smith since September 2022, Colin also provides expertise as a Cyber Security Consultant for Cybershield Ltd since May 2021. In addition, Colin has maintained a career in the arts as a self-employed actor, director, musician, and performer since November 2002. Previously, Colin held multiple senior positions at National Grid from April 2011 to May 2021, including Global Head of Data Security Engineering and Director of Security Orchestration Automation & Response Engineering, and contributed to digital risk and cybersecurity operations. Earlier experience includes serving as Infrastructure Delivery Manager at National Grid Gas plc from April 2004 to October 2011.
