Prasad Katre is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in web application security and service development. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Druva since August 2021, Prasad also holds the position of Lead Software Engineer at Qualys since March 2019, focusing on web application security. Previously, Prasad was a Lead Software Engineer at Avaya, contributing as a core team member on the Context Engine project and designing REST-based web services from April 2010 to February 2019. Prasad's early career includes significant roles at Capgemini India Pvt Limited from August 2005 to March 2010, leading teams in the HSBC Accounts Cards domain and progressing through various levels of software engineering. Prasad holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Govt. Polytechnic Solapur and a degree from Pune Institute of Computer Technology.
