Frank Hand is a highly experienced engineer with a specialization in analogue design and a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Senior Analogue Design Engineer at Drumgrange Ltd since June 2022, Frank previously held the position of Principal Engineer at Thales Avionics from June 2004 to August 2022, leading projects on high power military radar systems and managing technical and reliability challenges within strict ITAR constraints. Before that, Frank was a Principal Analogue Engineer at Ultra Electronics from June 1996 to May 2004, where responsibilities included the design of electronic hybrids for aircraft systems. Early career experience includes a position as Senior Engineer at Liebert Corporation, focusing on the development of UPS systems, and as a Graduate Engineer at ERA Technology Ltd, contributing to fast-paced electronic circuit projects. Frank holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from London South Bank University and a BTEC OND in the same field from East Surrey College.
