Christen Klinger, Ph.D., has a diverse work experience in various scientific and research roles. Starting in 2011, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Alberta. In 2012, they continued their research work as a Graduate Student and also presented scientific posters. From 2013 to 2019, they worked as a Visiting Researcher at the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology and the University of Glasgow. In 2014, they began working as a Scientific Presenter, delivering talks on scientific topics. In 2019, they completed their graduate studies at the University of Alberta. In 2020, they joined DrugBank as a Biocurator and later transitioned to the role of a Software Developer. Currently, they serve as the Scientific Support Lead in Bioinformatics at DrugBank.
