Sunita Tavabalan has over 10 years of work experience. Sunita began their career in 2011 as a Customer Service Officer at Singtel. In 2012, they joined Singapore Management University as a Program Executive. In 2013, they moved to the Ministry of Education, Singapore as a Mathematics Teacher. In 2014, they were a Recruitment Coordinator / Onboarding Specialist at CPF Board. In 2015, they were a Recruitment Specialist at National Healthcare Group and an Education Executive at Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA). In 2017, they became a Talent Acquisition Executive at the University of Newcastle. In 2018, they joined the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators as a Corporate Executive, Asia Pacific. In 2022, they were a Senior Executive, Regional Human Resources at MSIG Asia and a Global Talent Acquisition Specialist at Dropsuite.

Sunita Tavabalan obtained a Diploma in Banking and Financial Services from Nanyang Polytechnic between 2008 and 2011. Sunita then completed a National Institute of Education - Specialist Diploma in Teaching and Learning in Mathematics and Science from Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2013. Most recently, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business from Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) between 2016 and 2019. Additionally, Sunita has obtained four certifications from LinkedIn in Interviewing Techniques, Recruiting Foundations: Recruiting for In-House Recruiters, Talent Sourcing, and Virtual Interviewing for HR, all obtained in June 2022.
