Robert Freudenreich is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Dropbox since December 2022, Robert leads efforts in end-to-end encryption. Prior to this role, Robert founded Boxcryptor in May 2011, a company later acquired by Dropbox in 2022. Earlier experiences include a diploma thesis at IBM, tutoring at the University of Augsburg, and internships at Accenture and Krawall Gaming Network GmbH. Robert holds a Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Augsburg and studied at the University of Valencia from 2007 to 2008.
