Jason Atwood has a diverse work experience, having worked in a variety of industries. Jason's career began in 1992 when they were a Professional Baseball Player for the Colorado Rockies. In 1994, they became a Professional Poker Player, playing in the World Poker Tour and World Series of Poker. Jason also worked at AT&T from 1994 to 2003, where they held the roles of Senior Director Information Technology and Vendor Management Director. From 2003 to 2007, they worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in various roles including VP of Global Delivery, VP Global Operations, Offshore Risk and Compliance VP, and AVP of Offshore Vendor Management. From 2007 to 2009, they worked at Nike as an Outsource Executive VP and Senior Outsourcing Executive. Jason's most recent work experience was at Drop-In Gaming, where they served as Chief Executive Officer from 2020 to present. In this role, they were responsible for driving user engagement for an organization or major sports team by creating a platform that takes all of the manual process out of running tournaments.
Jason Atwood began their educational journey in 1985 at Henry d. Sheldon. Jason then attended Pacific University from 1988 to 1991, where they studied Marketing/Marketing Management. From 1991 to 1992, they attended Western Oregon University and earned a BS in Psychology. Lastly, they attended the University of Oregon from 1992 to 1993, studying Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, Jason Atwood has obtained several certifications, including an AWS Business Professional from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2017, an ITIL Service Operation from EXIN in 2015, a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) from the Scrum Alliance in 2014, a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2005, an AWS Certified from Amazon Web Services, and an ITIL Foundation Certification from ITIL Managers.
