Darcy de Winter has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. They started their professional journey at Outfit Fashion as a Sales Assistant, where they gained customer service and interpersonal skills. Following this, they had a brief work experience as a stand-in secretary in the office of a local Member of Parliament. They then worked as a Shop Assistant at Marks and Spencer before becoming the Secretary of Rocket Theatre Company. In 2021, they took on the role of Vice President at Stephenson Feminist Society, where they promoted diversity and accessible politics. They also worked as a Producer at PalatinateTV, managing video projects and ensuring compliance with media laws. In the same year, they became a Campus Ambassador at Polis Analysis, focusing on diversifying the client base and increasing engagement among students. In 2022, they joined the Sefton Council as a Strategy, Management, and Policy Graduate, where they researched and developed an Equalities strategy and produced reports. They were then selected as a Cohort Member at Jumpstart, attending start-up spotlights and interacting with founders. Currently, they hold the position of Founder's Associate at DROOL, where they have excelled in PR and Artist Relations, increased sales, engagement on social media, and optimized the website's user experience.

Darcy de Winter began their education in 2014 at Castell Alun High School, where they completed their GCSEs. From 2016 to 2018, Darcy continued their studies at the same school and obtained their A-Levels in French, German, History, and Politics. In 2018, Darcy enrolled at Durham University and pursued a Combined Honours degree in Social Sciences, specializing in History and Politics. They completed this program in 2022. Additionally, in 2020 to 2021, Darcy attended Heidelberg University for their ERASMUS Year Abroad, focusing on History.
