Tim Nelson has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Tim is currently working as a Senior C++ Software Engineer at DroneUp since November 2022. Prior to this, Tim worked at Compound Eye as a Software Engineer from February 2022 to June 2022. Tim also had a significant tenure at NI (National Instruments) where they worked in multiple roles. Tim served as a Staff Software Engineer from August 2021 to February 2022 and as a Software Engineer from August 2017 to August 2021. Before joining NI, they worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota from September 2014 to May 2017.

Tim Nelson completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, they obtained certifications in C# Essential Training: 1 Syntax and Object Oriented Programming and C# Essential Training: 2 Flow Control, Arrays, and Exception Handling from LinkedIn in October and November 2020, respectively.
