Daniel Strabley

Daniel Strabley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Daniel is currently working at DroneUp as a Product Manager, starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Principal at Overence from January 2021.

From 2013 to 2022, Daniel worked at World Wide Technology, where they held several positions. Daniel was a Research & Development Product Lead - Public Sector, focusing on hardware and software prototypes for real-time communications, thermal integration, and robotics. Daniel also created the Nightcrawler series of unmanned ground vehicles. Additionally, they served as a Product Architect - Mobile Field Kit, responsible for creating software and hardware prototypes and overseeing the usability of military applications. Daniel was also a UX Designer / Front End Engineer, working on mission-critical Situational Awareness Software for the Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) community.

Before joining World Wide Technology, Daniel worked at Table XI Partners LLC as a Senior Designer / Application Developer from 2008 to 2013. Daniel led the creation and delivery of creative/UI assets and directed client research sessions. Additionally, they worked on front-end code in Ruby on Rails and PERL environments.

From 2007 to 2008, Daniel was a Senior Designer at closerlook, inc., focusing on interactive projects for the medical and pharmaceutical industry. Daniel developed materials and created reusable code libraries.

Prior to that, they worked at Arthur Agency, Inc as a Designer, specializing in visual design for various mediums such as web, print, and broadcast. Daniel also served as a technical lead, establishing data storage and redundancy protocols.

Daniel's early career includes serving as an Editor for Demise Magazine, a design publication, from 2001 to 2005. The magazine was sold internationally.

Overall, Daniel Strabley has amassed experience in product management, research & development, UX design, front-end engineering, and design across multiple industries.

Daniel Strabley attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a BFA degree in Visual Communications and Art History. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications from the Intel Corporation, including Intel® Ambassador, NUC Mini PC Solutions, Gaming Systems, and Selling IoT Solutions. The certifications were obtained in 2021, with specific months varying for each certification.
