Brooke Wells is an accomplished engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney. With experience at DroneShield as an Engineer since January 2021, Brooke previously held roles including Graduate Mechanical Engineer at UTS Rapido and Junior Mechatronic Engineer, where responsibilities included troubleshooting system issues, designing embedded software, and managing temperature control and monitoring for testing equipment. Earlier professional experience also includes a Mechanical Engineering Internship focused on material testing and automation of data analysis using MATLAB. In addition to technical expertise, Brooke demonstrated leadership as a U:PASS Senior Leader and U:PASS Leader, enhancing collaborative learning among peers. Other roles in team environments include positions at Bunnings and BIG W, as well as an Undergraduate Engineer role at Crest Air Conditioning, contributing to compliance reviews and technical advice on projects.
