Florian Karydes is a Senior Mechatronics Engineer at DroneDeploy since February 2023, previously serving as Lead Robotics Software Developer at HUMANITAS SOLUTIONS from March 2019 to January 2023, where Karydes led a team on the development of HyperXspace, a cloud-based simulation environment for multi-robot testing. Karydes’ earlier roles at HUMANITAS SOLUTIONS included contributions to quadrotor swarm control projects and the development of a platform for multi-agent systems research. Prior experiences also include positions as Data Architect at Airbus, Process Planner Assistant at DAHER, and various roles in logistics and retail. Karydes holds a Master of Science in Mechatronics from Polytechnique Montréal and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from INSA Lyon, complemented by a background in architecture.
