Christopher Wells has a diverse work experience spanning from 2012 to 2023. Christopher started their career as a Research Assistant at California State University Channel Islands in August 2012, where they worked until September 2015. Subsequently, they joined the City of Thousand Oaks as a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Grade II from July 2012 to December 2015. Christopher then moved on to the City of Simi Valley as a Plant Operator Grade II, working from December 2015 to June 2016.
In 2016, Christopher joined Enterprise UAS as a Drone Solutions Developer/Support Specialist, where they worked until January 2018. Christopher then transitioned to Dudek and served as a UAS Operations Manager, Chief RPIC, and Survey Technician from January 2018 to April 2022. Following that, they took on the role of Training and Support Manager/Head of Web Design and Digital Marketing at Mapping Supply from April 2022 to January 2023.
Currently, Christopher works at DroneBase as the Geospatial Operations Manager, starting in January 2023. Overall, their experience spans various roles, including research, drone development, operations management, and support in both academic and industry settings.
Christopher Wells attended California State University Channel Islands from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Environment Science and Resource Management. In addition to their degree, they also obtained the PADI Open Water I Dive certification from PADI in November 2014, and the Remote Pilot Certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in December 2016.
