Nelson Santos has a long history of work experience. Nelson began their career in 1994 as an Information System Analyst at Canatom NPM. In 1996, they moved on to become Manager of IT at Canadian Nuclear Utility Services. In 2000, they were promoted to Director of Wireless Broadband Services at Scientech Canada. In 2003, they joined Scientel America, Inc. as their Chief Technology Officer, where they were responsible for the development of broadband and wireless IP brands, developing broadband strategies and partnerships, and providing strategic consulting. In 2005, they founded and became CEO of Scientel Solutions. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Drone Defence as an Investor and Director.
Nelson Santos attended Ryerson University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a degree in Business Commerce with a focus on Information Systems. Prior to that, they attended Carleton University from 1993 to 1994, studying Economics & Law.
