Senior Design Engineer at Dronamics

Anass R. has a diverse range of work experience in engineering and design roles. Anass began their career at Airbus as an SPF Tool designer, where they were responsible for designing super plastic-forming tools for a research and technology project. Anass then worked at Sogeti as a Mechanical Design Engineer, managing the design of composite panels and structures while considering manufacturing limitations. Anass then joined Altran France as a Consultant, focusing on metallic and composite design using Catia V5 and VPM. Anass later moved to Zodiac Aerospace as a Composite Design Engineer, where they developed innovative design schemes for seating products with a focus on minimizing weight and cost. Anass then worked at SITEC GROUPE as a Senior Design Engineer, creating integrated and certified engineering repair solutions for airlines and internal customers. Anass then joined CAF Rail UK as an Interior Design Engineer, where they developed high-quality engineering design work for cab and interior components. Most recently, Anass worked at Vertical Aerospace as a Pylon structure designer for EVTOL aircraft, where they were involved in conceptual and detail design of composite and metallic structures, component/system requirements definition, and collaboration with internal and external engineering teams.

Anass R. has a strong education background in the field of mechanical structures and systems. Anass earned a Master's Degree from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers from 2008 to 2013. During the same period, they also completed an Ordinary Degree with a focus on being responsible for the industrial sector. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2008, Anass attained a Bachelor's degree in Design & Manufacturing on CATIA from Figeac School. Their education journey began at Decazeville’s School, where they obtained a Higher National Diploma in Plastic from 2005 to 2007.

Additionally, Anass has obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills. In 2012, they completed the PDM Link certification from CIMPA PLM Services. In 2009, they acquired certifications in Catia V5 Airbus Methods and Catia V5 Composite Dassault, both obtained from CIMPA PLM Services.
