Elke Van Oudenhove is a Director at Droia Ventures. Elke has a PhD in cancer biology from Cancer Research UK (CRUK) and a postdoctoral fellowship from NYU Langone Health, where they researched the mechanisms of SWI/SNF dysfunction in the immune-reactive microenvironment of small cell carcinoma of the ovary, hypercalcemic type.

Elke has experience in western blotting, qRT-PCR, tissue culture, primary tissue handling, drug treatments, PDXs, Next Generation Sequencing, confocal microscopy and flow cytometry. Elke also managed the GYN PDX bank, associated protocols and SOPs conform IACUC regulations, and pre-clinical drug testing in ovarian cancer PDX models. In addition to their research experience, Elke has participated in Gynecology Oncology tumor boards and done community outreach as a Citizen Schools teacher and regular presenter for supporters.

Elke Van Oudenhove has a PhD in Medical Science from the University of Cambridge and a degree in Biomedische Laboratoriumtechnologie from HOGENT.
