Tia Lilliman has a diverse work experience that includes both engineering and real estate roles. Tia began their career in 2010 as a Sales Associate and Licensed Realtor at Prudential Shimmering Sands Realty, where they assisted buyers, investors, and sellers. In 2016, they joined ERA Real Estate as a Sales Associate and Licensed Realtor, specializing in Panama City Beach. Tia's responsibilities included helping customers with buying, investing, selling, or renting properties and staying updated on the latest laws and market conditions. In 2017, Tia transitioned into the engineering field and joined DRMP, Inc. as a Project Engineer II and Licensed Civil Engineer Intern. Tia'swork at DRMP involved plans production for engineering design projects, designing pedestrian and drainage features, and supporting Public Involvement activities and Task Work Order administration for various municipal projects. Currently, Tia holds the position of Construction Engineering Inspector at DRMP, where they monitor site operations and tracks construction activities for various projects, including bridge and roadway construction, dredging operations, and roadway resurfacing and widening. Tia is responsible for inspecting existing utilities, developing tracking systems, and ensuring compliance with project-specific requirements.

Tia Lilliman, P.E., M.S., has an extensive education history in engineering. Tia earned a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from Florida State University from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the same university from 2016 to 2018. Tia also has an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Civil Engineering Technology from Gulf Coast State College, where they studied from 2012 to 2014. In 2007 and 2008, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Aeronautical Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

In addition to their academic degrees, Tia has obtained the FE Exam certification from the NCEES in August 2017.
