Sam Johnston has extensive experience in marketing and business development. Sam is currently the Cofounder, CMO, and Venture Studio Chief Launch Officer at nth Venture, where they launched several successful businesses, including Audily and Merchant Boxes. Sam also served as Chief Growth Officer at Merchant Boxes and as a Fractional CMO at Driven Insights and Audily. Additionally, Sam has worked as an Accelerator CMO Lecturer at Startup Montréal and DigitalCity, and as a Guest Business Lecturer at George Mason University - School of Business and Providence Day School. Sam serves on the Board of Directors at Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte and is a Writer & Council Member for Forbes.
Sam Johnston has a diverse educational background and extensive certifications. In 2013, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Outdoor Education from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, and in 2014, they earned a Post graduate Certificate in Education from the same institution. Sam also obtained a Foundation degree in Friluftsliv from the University of South-Eastern Norway in 2013. In 2015, they completed a Diploma in Operations Management and Supervision from Study Operations Management. Additionally, they have taken several courses and obtained certifications related to project management, including Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), and Project Management Professional (PMP). Sam has also completed various marketing-related certifications, including Google Analytics, Inbound Marketing, and Business Intelligence and Knowledge Management Systems. Some of their other certifications include Workplace Safety and Health, First Aid, and Anaphylaxis Management Instructor. Johnsont is currently enrolled in a program at the Texas McCombs School of Business, studying Current Events in the Markets.
