Amaris Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over a period of more than 15 years. Amaris most recently served as the President/Founder of Make-Up Esteem, a role they assumed in March 2018. Prior to that, Amaris held the position of Sr. Implementation & Payroll Service Consultant at Driven By Safety Inc., where they built and maintained strong client relationships, acted as a subject matter expert, and configured solutions to meet client requirements.

From 2015 to 2017, Amaris worked as a Payroll Account Manager at ADP, where they provided proactive support to clients on payroll, tax, and the client portal. Amaris leveraged their knowledge of tax concepts and setup to guide and support clients effectively.

Before their time at ADP, Amaris held various roles in different industries. Amaris worked as a Logistics Specialist at Home Depot/Your Other Warehouse, where they analyzed logistics data, provided ongoing analyses, and optimized service levels. Additionally, they served as a Health IT Training Specialist at HCMI Solutions, LLC, and as a HITECH Workforce Program: EMR/EHR Implementation Support Specialist at Chattanooga State Community College.

Earlier in their career, Amaris gained valuable experience as a Consumer Marketing Advisor at Bank of America, where they collaborated with the Marketing Manager to oversee advertising budgets and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Amaris also worked as a Clinical Purchasing Specialist at Access Health Solutions, focusing on developing and evaluating health information technology applications.

Amaris's work experience also includes roles such as Internal Escalations Unit Supervisor at Compu Credit and Dietary Service Aide and Telephone Operator at the Department of Veterans Affairs, where they gained experience in physician and nurse support, updating diet orders, and handling telephone operations.

Prior to that, Amaris attended Davenport University-Eastern Region from 2002 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
