Claire O'Donnell has a diverse and extensive work experience. Claire currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at ALD Automotive Ireland, a global leader in mobility solutions. Prior to this, they worked at Hostelworld Group as an M&A Financial Specialist. Claire also held various roles at ARYZTA Food Europe, including Finance Director Projects and Financial Director at Delice De France. Before that, they served as a Financial Controller and Financial Planning & Analysis Reporting Manager at ARYZTA Food Europe AG. Claire also worked as the Head of Accounting & Finance at Dublin Business School and as an Assistant Manager in the Business Decision Support team at CRH. Claire started their career as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, where they trained as a Chartered Accountant and gained experience both in Ireland and London.

Claire O'Donnell has a Bachelor of Business Studies degree, with a 2.1 grade, from Dublin City University, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. From 2001 to 2002, they pursued a Diploma in Information Technology, achieving a 1.1 grade, also from Dublin City University. Claire then pursued their professional qualifications at the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland. Claire completed a Diploma in Corporate Finance from 2014 to 2015. In addition, Claire obtained a Diploma in IFRS from 2009 to 2010, where they earned a distinction. Finally, in 2006, Claire became a Qualified Accountant after completing their studies at the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
