Pietro Spano is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in quality assurance and project management within the oil, gas, and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as PQM at Drillmec since January 2021 and as QA/QC Engineer at Applus+ Velosi since October 2017, Pietro has demonstrated expertise in inspections and quality control for refinery construction projects. Previously, Pietro held roles such as Project Manager at 3V Tech, delivering pressure vessel constructions, Site Engineering Lead and Interface Manager at Dolphin Drilling, overseeing design and construction phases, as well as Project Engineer at Det Norske Veritas, focusing on drilling systems approval. Pietro commenced the professional journey as a Field Engineer at Schlumberger. Educationally, Pietro holds dual Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and Politecnico di Milano.
