Nathan Lomas has a diverse work experience, starting as an Insurance Agent at Sussex Insurance from 1999 to 2002. Nathan then worked as a banquet captain at San Diego Marriott Del Mar from 2005 to 2018, where they were responsible for organizing and leading various events. From 2018 to 2021, they served as a Banquet Manager at Kimpton Hotel Solamar. Following that, they were the Director of Food and Beverage at Concord Hospitality Enterprises from 2021 to 2024. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Banquet & Outlet Operations at Marriott San Diego Mission Valley under Driftwood Hospitality Management starting in 2024.

Nathan Lomas completed their Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in Entrepreneurship at San Diego State University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from San Diego Mesa College, which they attended from 2012 to 2014. In the earlier years, they studied Business Administration and Management at Vancouver Island University from 1999 to 2002.
