Paul "Roscoe" White has a diverse work experience with a focus on aviation and training. Paul "Roscoe" is currently the Director of The 1 of 5 Project, a role they began in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an F-35 Contract Instructor at both Delaware Resource Group from 2020 onward and BAE Systems, Inc. from 2018 to 2020.
Before their roles in the aviation industry, White held various positions in the United States Air Force. From 2015 to 2018, they served as the Deputy Director of Operations and Lead Instructor, where they supervised and mentored aircrew, managed training programs, and collaborated across cultures. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Director of Training and Safety, overseeing flight and ground safety programs and developing aircrew training programs.
Prior to that, White served as the Deputy Director/Plans Executive from 2010 to 2013, where they led training initiatives and successfully planned combat deployments. Paul "Roscoe" also worked as an Operations Supervisor and Team Chief from 1997 to 2010, managing maintenance activities and supervising maintenance personnel.
White also has experience outside of the military, as they previously served as a Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) Systems SME at Lockheed Martin in 2018, where they created and managed a training program for the 56 Fighter Wing.
Paul "Roscoe" White has a well-rounded education history in the field of aeronautical science, management, safety, logistics, and business. Paul "Roscoe" started their educational journey in 2002 at the Community College of the Air Force, where they earned an Associate's degree in Aircraft Maintenance Systems Technology. In 2003-2004, they attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University-Worldwide and obtained a Professional Aeronautics (B.S.) degree, specializing in Aeronautical Safety, Business, and Logistics. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Aeronautical Science, Management, Safety, and Logistics from the same university.
Paul further enhanced their expertise in mishap investigation by completing the Aviation Mishap Investigation Course (AMIC) at the Air Force Safety Center in 2015. In 2014, they also completed the Flight Safety Program Manager Course at the same institution.
In addition to their degrees, Paul has obtained various certifications. In November 2017, they earned the PMP Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute. Paul "Roscoe" also holds a Commercial Radio Operator License from the Federal Communications Commission, obtained in May 2001, as well as an Airframe, Power Plant, or Repairer License from the Federal Aviation Administration, obtained in March 2001.
