G. Randall Moody

G. Randall Moody has a broad risk management and litigation practice with significant experience in handling complex general liability and casualty, premises liability, trucking and transportation, products liability, commercial law, and insurance coverage cases. He has tried over 85 civil cases to jury verdict and handled appeals in state and federal courts. Randall regularly advises clients in an effort to avoid litigation and find practical, satisfactory solutions to legal problems. Additionally, he drafts risk management and personnel guidelines for clients with a risk management focus. He is rated as an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale Hubbell for his high ethical standards and professionalism.

Randall is a member of the American Bar Association, the Mexican American Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, The Federation of Insurance and Corporate Counsel, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association. He served as vice chair of the Self-Insurers and Risk Managers Committee of the American Bar Association. He is a member of the American Society of Industrial Security and took a forklift driver training qualification course to better serve his clients. Randall is firm liaison to the Harmonie Group (http://harmonie.org), an affiliation of independent law firms throughout the country. Harmonie links us to other leading law firms and provides us and our clients ready access to legal services in other jurisdictions.

In addition to being an active member in industry organizations, he volunteers his time by providing education and pro bono legal services. He presents articles and seminars on the subjects of insurance, trucking liability, premises liability, and products liability. He has provided pro bono services to the Legal Assistance to the Elderly and Saturday Morning Lawyers programs of the Atlanta Legal Aid Society and assisted deserving individuals facing legal obstacles but who could not afford paid legal representation. Randall has also provided mentorship services to students at the Atlanta area high school he attended.

In college, he competed in soccer at the NCAA division I level and was a four letter award winner and team co-captain. In law school, he was a member and associate editor of the Mercer Law Review and received American Jurisprudence Awards in Torts, Criminal Law, Insurance Litigation, and Legal Profession. In addition, he received the William Edward McCurdy Award, given annually to a student of the law of torts.
