Basit Ali is an experienced software engineer specializing in software development and loadable Linux kernel module development. Currently working at DreamBig Semiconductor Inc. since December 2020, Basit has focused on device drivers and models utilizing C programming. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at DreamBig, as well as an Embedded Software Engineer at PLC Group, where responsibilities involved developing user space APIs for various communication protocols and software for hardware controllers on Raspberry Pi. Basit started the career as an intern at PLC Group with experience in web front-end and back-end development and sensor interfacing. Basit holds a Master’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar.
