Yacht Charter Director – Commercial at Dream Yacht

Sebastian Hirst has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Sebastian started their career in the Royal Navy as a Rank AB2 and was recommended for the Admiralty Interview Board. Following this, they had seasonal work in hospitality and retail. Sebastian then worked as a South Coast Representative at Reeds Nautical Online and as a Commercial Assistant for International Clients at Barclays Bank.

In 2011, Sebastian joined TUI and progressed through several roles, including Business Development & Strategy Manager, UK Sales & Service Manager, and Head of Sales UK & France - Yachts. During their time at TUI, they managed teams, increased revenue, and oversaw strategic partnerships and customer service improvements.

After TUI, they worked as the Sales & Client Services Director at Simpson Travel and as a Volunteer Crew Member at RNLI. More recently, Sebastian worked at Dream Yacht, where they held the positions of Sales Director Europe - Charter (B2C) and Sales Director Europe - Charter. Sebastian'sresponsibilities at Dream Yacht included charter sales, aftersales, claims and customer services, and revenue restructuring.

Overall, with their diverse background and experience, Sebastian Hirst has developed strong skills in sales, leadership, customer service, and team management.

Sebastian Hirst attended the University of Bath from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bsc 2:1 degree in International Management and Modern Languages, with a focus on French. Prior to that, they studied at Ivybridge from 2000 to 2004, and at Exeter School from 1999 to 2000. Sebastian's earliest education was at the Lycée International de St Germain-en-Laye from 1994 to 1999, although no specific degree or field of study information was provided for these years.
