Gal Ben-Tovim is a seasoned Senior Data Engineer currently employed at Dream since June 2024, bringing extensive experience from previous roles including Data Engineer at The Vets, MDClone, Matrix IFS, and Mekorot. In various capacities, Gal has developed and optimized ETL processes using technologies such as SQL, Python, and Airflow, while architecting data solutions on AWS. Gal's tenure at MDClone involved maintaining ETL processes with diverse technologies and enhancing data value, while at Matrix IFS, responsibilities included hands-on development with Actimize and collaboration with DBA teams. Initially, Gal's career began with ETL development at Mekorot, leading to a foundational role in providing technical support and ensuring efficient operations. Gal holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Management from The Open University of Israel, completed in 2020.
