Ioannis Floros has extensive experience in the field of finance. In 2018, they began working as an Associate Professor, Dean's Research Fellow and Head of the Finance Area at Lubar College of Business. Prior to this, they were an Associate Professor of Finance - Roger L. Fitzsimonds Junior Faculty Scholar at the same institution. From 2016-2017, they were an Associate Professor of Finance at Iowa State University and a Dean's Faculty Fellow in Finance at the College of Business from 2017-2018. Ioannis also held the position of Assistant Professor of Finance at Iowa State University - College of Business from 2008-2016. In 2013, they were a Founding Team Member and Director of Research at Dream Exchange. Additionally, from 2011-2012, they were a Member of the Academic Board and Adjunct Professor in Corporate Finance at Zurich Elite Business School. Lastly, from 2012-2013, they were a Visiting Academic Scholar at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Risk, Strategy and Financial Innovation.
Ioannis Floros obtained their Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business between 2003 and 2008. Prior to that, they obtained an M.Sc. in Economics and Finance from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School between 1998 and 1999. In 1997, they obtained a Certificate in Banking Risks from the Harvard Extension School. Ioannis also obtained a B.Sc. in Economics from Panepistimion Pireos between 1994 and 1998.
